Allen & Heath AR2412 Remote Audio Rack 24x12

The Allen & Heath AR2412 Remote Audio Rack provides 24 XLR inputs and 12 XLR outputs to connect with Allen & Heath's GLD digital mixing system. The AR2412 links to a GLD-80 or GLD-112 digital mixer through a single Cat5 cable, allowing it to be positioned up to 400' away. Allen & Heath's dSNAKE protocol provides full control over the AR2412's recallable mic preamps from the GLD mixer. For massive configurations, an optional GLD-AR84 expander rack can be connected to the AR2412, adding 8 more XLR inputs and 4 XLR outputs. The AR2412 is a high-powered, flexible solution for large shows where inputs need to be placed far from the mixing position.

dSNAKE Protocol Enables Remote Control

The AR2412 connects with a GLD digital mixer through Allen & Heath's dSNAKE protocol over a single Cat5 cable, which provides complete control of the rack's mic preamps from up to 400' away. All 24 of the AR2412's mic preamps are recallable via scenes on the GLD mixer for consistent sound.
