All-Tube Design Delivers Legendary Ampeg Sound
Featuring four preamp tubes and two power tubes, the V-4B head generates a fat, warm tube tone that has defined the Ampeg sound for decades. Its carefully tuned preamp and tone stack provide a wide range of sounds, from articulate punch to full-bodied grind. For players seeking a more modern tone, the V-4B also includes a 3-band EQ with flexible midrange control and a bright switch to cut through the mix.
Flexible Output Section Suits Any Setup
With its multiple speaker outputs and DI, the V-4B works for any live or recording setup. Connect to Ampeg SVT or Classic cabinets for a traditional Ampeg stack or use the 8Ω to 2Ω outputs to power other brands. The balanced XLR DI sends your tube tone direct to FOH or recording interfaces. A ground lift switch eliminates unwanted hum and an effects loop facilitates outboard gear.
