The Modern Vintage single-ply, 7mil thin weight drumhead, features a special coating that has the look, the feel and the warm sound of a calfskin head. The Vintage coating is slightly thicker and helps to slow the vibration of the head resulting in a warmer tone than heads of similar 7mil thickness. These thin tom heads are suitable for any musical setting where higher frequencies and full resonance is needed. Recommended for lighter playing or as a high-frequency resonant bottom head. The Modern Vintage heads make the drums look as good as they sound.
