The Black Lion Audio PG-1 mkII studio-grade power conditioner and surge protector treats your gear right and makes it sound even better. It features PG-99 filtering technology, and is built using premium Panasonic and Wima capacitors, due to their excellent execution in eliminating high-frequency noise. Combining that superior power filtration with an impressive power absorption rating of 2775 joules, and your gear isn’t just getting quality power, but is also protected from the most unsafe of scenarios.
The PG-1 mkII includes a bank of eight switched, filtered and surge-protected outlets on the back panel, combined into four groups: digital audio x2, analog audio and high current. The high current outlets are time delayed, ensuring that your speakers and power amplifiers are the last to turn on, and the first to turn off; this prevents the dreaded “pop” that can occur if speakers receive power at the same time as your sound sources. The PG-1 mkII also features two filtered convenience outlets, a USB port for device charging and an XLR lamp connection on the front panel.
