BOSS designed this rugged footswitch to unlock the full potential of select Katana and Roland amplifiers, giving guitarists and bassists alike an intuitive interface to instantly switch between stored presets or activate different effects. The GA-FC EX builds on the standard GA-FC model with enhanced features for greater flexibility, including status LEDs in two colors, two dedicated expression pedal jacks and a control jack for connecting a third expression pedal. Whether practicing, recording or performing on stage, the GA-FC EX puts a world of sonic possibilities at your feet.

Instantly Switch Between Tonal Presets

With the GA-FC EX connected to your Katana or Roland amp, you can swiftly toggle between all your saved presets to find the perfect tone for any part of a song. The durable footswitches are designed to withstand years of stomping, ensuring reliable switching when you need it most.

Activate Different Effects On the Fly

A quick tap of the GA-FC EX's Effect switch activates or bypasses a variety of effects for the current channel, allowing you to easily customize each preset. Sculpt your tone by adding effects like reverb, delay, modulation or distortion, then save the edited preset to recall later.

Control Your Sound with Expression Pedals

The GA-FC EX features two dedicated expression pedal jacks, giving you hands-free control over effects parameters for a seamless performance experience. Adjust settings like volume, wah or pitch in real time by connecting up to two expression pedals (sold separately). For the ultimate in flexibility, the Exp Pedal 3 mode even allows you to connect a third expression pedal.
