Neck-Thru Construction Provides Enhanced Sustain
The KH-602 features a 3-piece maple neck that extends the entire length of the guitar, providing increased resonance and sustain for complex leads and power chords. The contoured alder body and 25.5" scale maple neck allow for comfortable playing during marathon practice sessions and shows.
EMG Active Pickups Deliver Bone-Crushing Tone
The KH-602 comes equipped with an EMG 60 humbucker in the neck position and an EMG 81 in the bridge, the combination that gives Hammett his signature crushing tone. The 60 provides warm, fat tone for rhythm playing while the 81 adds tight, aggressive bite for solos. A 3-way toggle switch allows for endless tonal variations from sparkling cleans to face-melting distortion.
Floyd Rose Tremolo Bridge Enables Dive Bombs and Squeals
