The Green channel offers lush cleans that gain up with the push of a button, while the Red channel's burn button ignites fiery crunch ideal for face-melting leads.
Sophisticated Tone-Shaping Tools
Each channel features dedicated Gain and Volume controls for balancing levels when switching between the sparkling clean and molten high-gain channels. The Red channel's noise gate provides a quick attack to articulate staccato riffs without choking sustain. A footswitchable Boost on Channel 2 adds 10dB of volume for solos that cut through the mix. Shared EQ, Resonance, and Presence knobs fine-tune the tone's low and high-end, while a global Reverb control provides the perfect splash of ambience for any room.
Performance-Ready Features
A two-button footswitch, effects loop, dual parallel speaker outputs, and a power reducer enabling cranked tones at lower volumes make the 5150 Iconic 80W head ideal for practice, studio, and stage. The speaker-emulated DI with power amp mute accurately captures the amp's tone for recording direct or running into a PA.
