As an accomplished artist today, Josh is known for his fiery live performances where he effortlessly blends the blues, jazz and country music together, all while showcasing a mastery level of technical skill. The FLATV1 is designed to bring that same level of passionate intensity to a variety of genres with comfortable playability and outstanding tone.
Featuring an ash body, a roasted maple neck with a soft “V” profile and a roasted maple fingerboard, the FLATV1 Josh Smith blends the charm of classic design with a modern feel. This signature electric is also equipped with Josh’s signature pickup set, vintage-style Seymour Duncan Flat 5 single-coils that deliver bright, fat tone. Additional features include Gotoh machine heads and a Gotoh F1803 bridge for optimal tuning stability.
