The Premium SR5FMDX2 bass from Ibanez delivers a modern alternative for bass players with a smooth, fast neck and lightweight body, along with perfectly matched electronics. The SR5FMDX2 is built with an African mahogany body for a rich mid-low end and a flame maple/ash top for a striking visual. This is paired with a 5-piece panga panga/purpleheart neck with KTS reinforcement rods and a flamed maple fretboard to further enhance its exotic appearance. Equipped with two Nordstrand Big Single pickups, this 5-string bass delivers a full-bodied, powerful and aggressive tonal texture, while still retaining the clarity that's characteristic of single-coil pickups. Additional features include 3-band EQ, Gotoh machine heads, an EQ bypass switch and an MR5S bridge.
