This Pro Series electric from Jackson is the signature Rhoads electric of Mark Heylmun, the lead guitarist of California deathcore masters Suicide Silence. The band was voted best newcomers in 2009, have charted on Billboard and tour excessively around the world alongside bands such as Mudvayne, Static-X, Bury Your Dead, Dope and Black Label Society. Being a huge fan of the Jackson offset Rhoads shape, Mark worked closely with the Jackson Custom Shop to design and develop a modern take on the iconic model, which instantly became the guitar of his dreams. The Signature Mark Heylmun RR24-7 Rhoads features a 26.5” scale length, nyatoh body and through-body maple neck with graphite reinforcement topped with a 24 jumbo fret, 12"-16" compound radius ebony fingerboard. Designed for an extended sonic palette, this 7-string beast is fueled with Fishman Fluence Modern humbucking pickups offering the options to switch between an active and passive sonic pallet. A three-way pickup toggle switching allows for further sonic sculpting, along with rock-solid tuning stability throughout the most aggressive dive bombs or harmonic squeals with the Floyd Rose 1000 series double-locking tremolo bridge system.
