The shekeres history begins in Africa where this unique instrument serves as a shaker, a rattle, and a drum. LP created the LP Pro Shekere based upon the gourd shape of the natural models. It incorporates a white fiberglass body that is wrapped in a lattice of Jenigor plastic beads.
