The 7-ply maple and walnut shells feature MAPEX's Air Flow Venting system, which allows the drum heads to flex for extra vibration. SONIClear bearing edges also increase shell-to-head contact, coaxing a broad range of tones from the 22" kick, 10" and 12" toms, and the 14" and 16" floor toms.
