MST Modeling Recreates Marshall Magic

Marshall teamed up with audio software pioneers Softube to develop Marshall-Softube (MST) modeling technology. MST preamps, power amps, and speaker cabinets are highly accurate digital recreations of Marshall's most acclaimed amplifiers and cabinets. The CODE50 features 14 MST preamps including the JTM45, Bluesbreaker, Silver Jubilee, and JCM800. It also provides 4 MST power amps—EL34, 5881, EL84 and 6L6—and 8 MST speaker cabinet simulations ranging from a tight 1x12 to a roaring 4x12.

24 Effects for Endless Tonal Possibilities

The CODE50 is equipped with 24 studio-quality effects to inspire new sounds. It offers essential effects like reverb, delay, chorus and tremolo as well as classic stompbox distortions and a compressor. The tap tempo delay and reverb allow for precise control over effect times. By combining different MST preamps, power amps, cabinets and effects, guitarists can craft hard-hitting high-gain tones, glassy cleans and everything in between.

Connect and Control

The CODE50 was designed for connectivity and control. It features USB and Bluetooth connectivity to provide remote control of all the amp's functions via the Marshall Gateway app. The app offers access to an online community, video tutorials and patch sharing. Guitarists can also connect MP3 players, streaming devices, and more to the CODE50's aux input to jam along with music. For private practice or direct recording, the headphone output delivers the same iconic tones without making a sound.
