This head combines the warm, soulful magic of the WalkAbout tube preamp section with the musical Class D output power used in the Subway line to create the ultimate lightweight hybrid. That original fat, round WalkAbout tone is joined by comprehensive rotary shelving controls and a semi-parametric EQ, providing total shaping authority. The WD-800 also features a Highpass Filter and a Power Amp Dampening control for tuning of the sub-low frequencies and power response options respectively.
