Ocean Way's Audio Pro2A 8" powered studio monitor achieves an efficient distortion-free dynamic range in an aesthetically appealing trapezoidal profile. Its cabinet features a sleek, charming design profile whose form is integrally associated with attention to time alignment and reduced baffle reflections, alongside materials designed to minimize low frequency resonance. Its port is optimized to increase the woofer's low frequency extension and sound pressure level capacity.
The Audio Pro2A’s HF driver is a high-definition silk fabric dome design with excellent mechanical linearity. The LF driver is a geometrically reinforced aluminum cone with a vented cast aluminum chassis that yields optimum strength and low compression. Combined with the cabinet, the system offers minimal reflection, high resolution and low listening fatigue over the entire audio spectrum.
This two-way, self-powered design delivers amazing performance and allows for flexibility of placement in the room with a uniform frequency response of 35Hz to 25kHz, and 110dB maximum SPL between channels. The precise room response controls allow for adjustments to the varying acoustic environments so the listener hear a natural, open and accurate image.
