Ovation's signature rounded Lyrachord body and deep contour cutaway provide the Balladeer 12-string with a distinctive look and voice. The body's rounded shape and cutaway offer comfortable playability, while Lyrachord delivers a balanced acoustic resonance to complement the crisp 12-string sound. Combined with scalloped X-bracing and a solid spruce top, the Balladeer produces full, shimmering 12-string tones with defined bass, warm mids and sparkling highs.

With Ovation's signature multi-soundhole design, notes bloom with chime-like trebles and tightly focused lows. Strum bold chords or delicately fingerpick—this top handles it all with clarity and balance.
Play Comfortably with a 5-Piece Neck
The satin-finished mahogany and maple neck provides stability for precise intonation along the 22-fret pau ferro fingerboard. Its moderate C-shaped profile feels familiar and comfortable in your hands. Dot and diamond inlays add visual interest while helping you navigate the neck. A 10" radius and 47.6mm nut width give you plenty of room for complex fingerings and barre chords.
