This Shure Recording Bundle contains a SM7B cardioid dynamic mic and SRH840A headphones to help you get started recording and creating. The flat, 50Hz–20kHz frequency response of the Shure SM7B microphone with Switchable Response is designed especially for spoken word, but recording engineers have discovered that it's also an exceptional mic for adding body to thin vocals and handling loud rock/metal singers. It also has the ability to tame harsh or sibilant sounds from hi-hat, cymbals and voice. The SM7B is highly shielded against electrical interference, and includes bass roll-off and mid-range emphasis (presence boost) controls with graphic display, and internal "air suspension" shock isolation. It also comes with a standard windscreen and an A7WS detachable windscreen for close-talk applications.
Building upon the same strong foundation of high accuracy and natural, well-balanced frequency response found in the SRH840, the Shure SRH840A professional monitoring headphones are optimized for critical listening and studio monitoring. A precisely tailored frequency response and 40 mm neodymium dynamic drivers deliver rich bass, clear mid-range and extended highs. A wide, padded headband and collapsible design combine with Shure durability to provide the ultimate listening experience. The headphones include a threaded 1/4" gold-plated adapter and carrying bag.
