MOSFET Boost For Additional Gain

The Badger 35's redesigned preamp includes a foot-switchable MOSFET boost circuit that provides up to 26dB of transparent gain to push the amp into smooth overdrive. The MOSFET boost works equally well as a solo boost or to add thickness and sustain to chords.

Single Channel With Power Scaling

The Badger 35's single channel dynamically interacts with your guitar's volume control so you can achieve a range of tones from clean to overdrive. Power scaling lets you adjust the voltage feeding the power section to emulate the volume and saturation of a cranked 100W amp at lower volumes. The "drive" control compensates for changes in power section voltage to maintain your tone.

Power Scaling for Any Venue

Suhr's innovative power scaling circuit lets you get cranked tube amp tones at lower volumes, perfect for recording or smaller stages. The power control adjusts the voltage to the output section, reducing the wattage while the drive control compensates to retain tone and feel. You can scale down to 1 watt without losing the tactile response and harmonic complexity of a fully cranked tube amp.
