The Zildjian K Sweet Crash bundle gives you a sweet pairing of a 16" and 18" cymbals. K Sweet crashes are typified by a dark, lush tone on the initial smash and an even, relatively fast decay that sits nicely in a music mix. Both sizes can do double duty as crash/rides, as stick definition is excellent—whether you’re using wood or nylon tips—and the unlathed bell produces a dry clang without the sustained harmonic washes that can blur articulation and attack. The bundle offers one of the more-popular cymbal setups as the 18" produces a meaty, resonant crash and the 16" delivers a bit of bite and shimmer.
